I was lucky to be taught great hygiene but didn’t learn about the details till college. I remember visiting a friend of mine at WVU and getting ready in his bathroom shocked by all of the products he and his boyfriend used. He asked what I use…”uhhh, acne soap”, there was a pause and then he responded with, “oh Travis…you have a lot to learn”.
I started with a better face wash and a face scrub. Mind you, I was still in college so I didn’t have a lot of money but could find good products till I could afford better ones.
By my mid-20’s I started a morning regime that I’ve stuck with:

Please Understand…as a Man, it’s ok to ask for help. The entire basis of opening SAMSON is to allow guys a comfortable place to chill out, shop for clothing and ask questions about grooming and barware. I’m sitting here hoping that you ask questions. So, if you ask, I’ll tell you that shirt is too big for you or that you should match your belt with your shoes. That’s no different for grooming.
